harryskydives 0 #51 January 21, 2004 Hey Judy, switch to point. He seems to do the kicking and not get kicked too often. Then again he was complaining that his knee was still sore from contact with my head. Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time... skynole 0 #59 January 23, 2004 Quote Don't get me wrong good four way is MUCH, MUCH harder-they aren't even close. But if you can't get into the four way scene (I can't train two weekends a month but I can plan a trip to do big way) big ways are a fun way to be different. Plus it watching one come together is cool Hey Fortson I heard a rumor that you are trying to get into the hybrid scene Brian

cvfd1399 0 #62 January 24, 2004 <---AMAZED I don't see how there won't be 50 people smacking into each other and twisting their canopys into each other at pull time. Thats alot of people. Does things like that happen alot on big ways? I saw a base jump movie today where there was like 10 people jumping off a cliff holding on to each other. Some of them were 2 and 3 deep stacked above each other. I was freaking "how are 10 peoples canopys gonna deploy outta that ball of flesh!"

Does things like that happen alot on big ways? If you check out World Team website you will find a section about the break off. I've done a number of big ways and so far, haven't run into a problem finding clean air space. billvon 3,088 #66 February 11, 2004 >AMAZED I don't see how there won't be 50 people smacking into >each other and twisting their canopys into each other at pull time. There were a few. Ray Ferrell collided with a cameraman as he pulled out and destroyed his brand new main (Sabre 2?) and there was a collision on the last day after opening. But for the most part Rusty's breakoff plan worked really well. There were some scary parts (the pullout people pulled out _during_ their track while still in the pack) but overall it got us enough separation to open safely. dragon2 2 #69 March 25, 2004 Quote Ray Ferrell collided with a cameraman as he pulled out and destroyed his brand new main (Sabre 2?). That was BTW THE MOST SCARY 1 1/2 secs of video I ever saw They're both lucky to have survived that..... All that was lost was one main canopy (clean in 2) and one still camera lens (found missing, after). And, before you ask, no I don't have the video, only the cameraman has. ciel bleu, Saskia
