Albatross 0 #2 May 29, 2003 Skydive U had a good video on basic body flight. For 4-way the is the Airspeed video 401, the New GK tape and I am sure some others.Chris
quade 4 #3 May 29, 2003 Does AA 401 show/explain exit basics and mantis position or does the student already need to know this information? I know "499" and "Best Of" pretty much requires the student to already have a good grasp of the basics before watching otherwise they'll be totally lost. http://www.airspeed.org/tshirts_videos.htmquade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Ron 10 #4 May 29, 2003 Thes are great if you know something about basic body flight. And if you know something about 4way already... Try Calling Skydive U..I think they put out a basic tape a few years ago... And Majic is planning on doing one in the tunnel. Just 4-way, or a broader definition (like, e.g., how to succeed on a big way)?... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. Albatross 0 #6 May 29, 2003 Quadeyou are right it is 499 that I was thinking of. But Skydive U has one that explains the basic body position. As for the other RW stuff, I am not sure. I ahve never seen or heard on a good Big way tape. If you want that come to Perris when you have 100 jumps and do one of Kate and Tony AND DAN BC's camps.Chris

quade 4 #8 May 29, 2003 Why would anyone be covering their heads? In case you hadn't heard, Dan BC is moving to Perris and is going to be the new General Manager! The Kate, Tony and Dan BC big-way camp coming up is for all level of folks that want to learn about big-ways. You're right 100 jumps is too low to join in this time, there's a minimum requirement of 250 jumps and the ability to close consistently 8th or later, but it's certainly something for folks to think about working towards. For more information, see http://skydiveperris.com/events/bigwaycamp.asp. arlo 0 #9 May 30, 2003 easy paul. i saw that comment was in response to the professor's. i thought it was someone saying if john had 100 jumps, he could go. If you re-read the part i quoted and think it's directed towards john, you'll see what i was laughing at. small attempt at humor on my part. the part i quoted had nothing to do with Dan BC or Perris. Of course I already knew he was the new GM.arlo
