Greig474 0 #1 May 15, 2011 Sometime in the near future i am hoping to save enough cash to buy a new container. After reading a few threads from a few years back and listening to some rumors on the dz it seems that some believe the following options hinder swoop performance: cut in laterals chest rings articulated harnesses the following aid in swoop performance: long chest strap - better shape of canopy rds - less drag low drag swoop risers - obviously less drag longer risers - (just what i've heard, im assuming because it increases recovery arc) If anybody can give more feedback on how and why any of the options on this list are pros or cons, along with pointing out any other options that are good or bad i would be grateful. Greig474 0 #2 May 15, 2011 also i noticed on the upt website on the list for swoop kit options that they list "stow less bag". Is this just because they give cleaner openings which is obviously more important on high performance canopies?
RichLees 0 #3 May 15, 2011 I don't have any technical tips, but I bought second hand because I knew I'd trash the rig. It could be worth getting removeable guards for the leg straps so you easily wash or replace them.
