I thought for sure I would be picked being in an area where there are no competitions, no records for the state, no signifigant gear manufacturers around and full on ceesna's as far as you can throw a bolder.

While I don't pretend to know what the PDFT's end game is, I don't believe they are 'one step below'. Some names on that list have significant accomplishments in the competitive arena (Nick, Tommy, Jess, Marat, etc).

Judging from the list, there's a good group with a variety of strengths in a variety of areas. I think it'll be interesting to see how the PDFT mold the final four.

Fastrax is not a PD team right? And does Jim no longer have a team?

The only other teams I can think of are Icarus (Evolution) and the red bull team (but they are more of a skydiving team, not swooping right).

Fatrax is a PD Supported/Sponsored Team, kind of an independant Team.

As Matthew said they're a PD sponsored team, but are not part of the factory team. John Hart owns, and sponsors the team. Stu, Scott, Isaiah or Kaz can probably answer that question better though

It would appear so. Last I saw the team was Micheal Stevens, Nick B, and Jessica E. At least 2 of those 3 have applied for this project. I don't know what Team Extreme's plans are at this stage. I'll be seeing them in South Africa soon, so I'll be asking aobut this myself
