jothie 0 #1 January 4, 2003 Hi. Does anyone have experience with the packing volume of a Stiletto compared to a Crossfire 2? On the websites of the manufactures a Crossfire 129 has about the same cuinch like a Stiletto 150 (364). I know that the packing volume is hard to mesure and that it varies with conditions, but do you have to upsize your container, when buying a Crossfire and you want to stick with the same size? jo "comedy is tragic plus time"

If you have the main closing loop that is mounted on the bottom of the pack tray then you need not worry; just adjust the loop's knot.
skycat 0 #3 January 6, 2003 My Crossfire 104 packs up about the same size as a Stiletto 120. Or I should say my 104 fits perfectly in my container made for a 120. So I think a good rule of thumb is go up one canopy size for pack volume. So a 129 which is closest to a 135 would pack about like a 150, give or take. On the other hand I use to have a crossfire 116 and was putting it in the same container I use now, it was a bitch, but I was able to do it. Container is a mirage MXS.Fly it like you stole it!
