Kris 0 #2 December 28, 2002 It's done via a mud-flap mount called "The Wedge". I think Para-Gear sells them. There were also some plans floating about on the net for how to make you own. Try doing a search on here for "wedge mount" and you may turn something up. jceman 1 #5 December 28, 2002 Let's make it clicky: http://www.works-words.com/alti.htm Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
hookitt 1 #6 December 29, 2002 QuotePlans here for a neat mount- http://www.works-words.com/alti.htm Nice!... That's much better than the link I found. 3 people I know have that exact mount. They like it. All of them are pretty advance freeflyers. It's a cool mountMy grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... freeflir29 0 #7 December 29, 2002 Heeheeehehehehee...just remember to "train" with it a little on the ground before you jump it. Last trip to the DZ a friend was borrowing a rig with an alti on the mud flap. about 6000 Ft he's on video looking at his bare wrist. You can see the thought process on his face as he realizes the alti is on his rig instead. Looked funny and we laughed but this could be NOT so funny in an emergency situation. It's a change from your routine....practice a little.
