Hey all you pond swoopers! The pond in LW is up and running , its a bit shallower than before, but we graded the ends to make a safe exit! With a shortage of water to pump into the pond, we did what we could to make it swoopable! The great white north boogie is happening Jan 16th to the 20th. Planes will be flying all day during the event! The DZ is working on getting a cessna in the near future for swoopers to take advantage of! We are trying to hold a swoop camp at the end of Jan. The dates we are looking at will be Jan 29 to 31(3 day camp) and for the people who can only make it for the weekend, we will have a second camp Feb 1st to 3rd(fri through sun) and if there is enough interest, we can keep jumping on monday as well! Ths jump prices we are aiming for will be 12 to 15$ per jump and we want to jump all day for the 3 day camp. Hopefully will be 12 to 18 jumps/day! Awesome! Thanks for the update. Kieth, see if we can secure a Cessna for a good day of practice for the Feb 8th (day before CPC). Three people from the cold North East are coming and making 10-12 practice jumps on Friday would be music to my ears. I am sure the rest of competitors will be there on Friday to practice as well...

Yep, will be there on Friday as well. Wld be great to have some jumps on the 8th. I always get the heebie jeebies after a long layoff (NY bites in Jan) so whatever we/you can make happen would be very much appreciated.
