TomAiello 26 #2 December 25, 2002 Boosters are Aussie speak for what Americans call booties. They're just extensions of the leg fabric down over the top of your foot, and wrapping around the toe. They tend to make your track a bit better, but take some getting used to. If you want more info on them, try searching for "booties" in the RW forum, or elsewhere.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com

pilotdave 0 #4 December 25, 2002 boosters sounds SO much better than booties. Maybe I'll start using that and see if it catches on. I am such a trend setter, ya know? Dave
masher 1 #5 December 26, 2002 who are you looking at getting your rel suit from? I'm looking at RMW and Airsuits, with Tads coming in third in my consideration...-- Arching is overrated - Marlies
dkearns 0 #6 December 26, 2002 I have two Airtime suits, Free fly and RW. Alan White is the shit and makes an excellent product. Rock up to Ramblers do some B-rels have the instructors get a feel for your fall rate and have Al measure and build you you one or two. He can also do killer graphics look at Paul and Debs FF suits. Man I miss AU .
masher 1 #7 December 27, 2002 I would love to rock up to Ramblers, only it's about a 3-5 day commute, or an 8 hr plane trip. I'm going to my DZ this weekend, and I'll be discussing it with my instructors down there. I'm probably leaning towards Airsuits atm, but I'm open to discussion...-- Arching is overrated - Marlies
