ianmdrennan 2 #26 April 3, 2007 So the first tx meet is over, how did you feel the canopy faired in comparison to others Brian? Looks, from the scores, like it held it's own. Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
IMGR2 0 #27 April 3, 2007 Well all I got on it was about 20 jumps before the meet so I am happy with the outcome. The only round that I actually used rear risers on was the distance round that I won. Four weeks of practice before the next meet, hoping to be a little more efficient by then. I am very happy with the performance thus far. Can't wait to see how the summer unfolds. Brains 2 #28 April 4, 2007 I had the advantage of watching Bryan land every round because i was out on an earlier pass. I have seen Bryan swoop for the last six years and i have never seen him swoop that far and that fast before. He was entering the gates with amazing speed and on that distance run where he actually used his rears, the damn thing just kept going Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you. pimpD 0 #31 April 5, 2007 Looks like a velo if not tell me whats different than a velo. No offence to you Bryan just want to know! I would like to try just to compare! IMGR2 0 #32 April 5, 2007 Dusty! Whats up my man! When I got this canopy I wanted good backup that we didn't "steal" it. So at the PIA symposium I invited some PD people, Precision as well as Brian Germain to take a look at it. The only person that said it looked even vaguely like thier own was Brian and he even said it was different. It was fun to see Brian climbing all inside of it. He said he was impressed. My X-1 95 was at Eloy just a couple weeks ago with the test crew. I think it might be pretty tough to get you a 79 just to play with for some time, Dan is the one you would want to talk to about that. You really should come home to visit. I have some freefly videos I found the other day of Brad Slager chasing you around the sky. lol
Sabre1Lucke 0 #33 April 5, 2007 Nice pics! Strange, in picture 1700 and 1701 there is a strange distortion in the middle of the canopy on top.

Sabre1Lucke 0 #35 April 5, 2007 But this is in the middle of the canopy? It seems that the middle cell posistion in lower then the rest, not like a deformed canopy when giving harnas-input

pimpD 0 #37 April 5, 2007 dont need one for a while just want to jump any size to compare! Even though I am a factory pilot I like to demo everything so when I coach I have a feeling of how different canopys perform. You didnt tell me or show me the canopy at PIA. Would of liked to! Been a long time since though vids. I would like to see me flailing also, keeps me humble. I suck anyway!
