Reserve Repacking

Would any rigger that repacks reserves please rate the following rigs in the order easiest to repack.

1.) Voodoo
2.) Javlin
3.) Vector

I want to get a rig that is repack friendly. Thanks

well, i've never packed a voodoo, but i have packed the other 2.

so it would be for me:

1. javelin
2. vector
3. voodoo (this is just from what i've heard)

Why worry about how easy it is to pack the reserve? Get a rig that is right for you, looks good, and has good pin / bridle / riser protection.

I'm working on getting my rigger's ticket- I understand wings are very easy to repack, anyone?

Wings are even easier the Javelins in my opinion. Any time I don't need bodkins I'm happy

The strength of the spring doesn't make it easier to pack a Wings in my opinion... Getting the reserve-PC seated nicely has never been easy to me with a Wings.

It gets easier, but not as easy as the others. PM me if you'd like to trade some tips.

Javelins, then Vector and VooDoo are similar. All are quite reasonable to pack. The smaller the rig with a tight fitting reserve makes them all more of a challenge.

Get something you like, something good, we'll deal with the reserve.

I have packed all three and they blur together in my mind.
1. Javelin
2. Voodoo
3. Vector

Re: 1. Wings are easier to pack than Javelins.
Re: 2. I wrote the Talon 2 packing manual while working at R.I., so can pack that series in my sleep.
Re: 3. Vectors have 6 flaps (vs. 4 on the others) and it is a nuisance to straighten out the corners on the inner top flap. They finally got the inner top flap design right on the Vector 3.
