If any of you guys want the video used for judging I have edited it, deinterlaced it, and compressed it. The filesize is 33MB and the running time is 5 minutes 19 seconds.

5th isn't too bad... I need way more practice on this canopy. I really need to learn to hook left that would have made a huge difference for me with this meet.

Being too dependant on right hooks totally fucked me on setups.

Being dependant on anything is bad (other than your ability to save your ass!! hehe).

Try to treat left and right turns no differently. The only aspect that sets them apart is our mental blocks. Work on breaking through them and realize they're nothing more than mirror images of what you would have seen with your preferred approach.
