ReyNier 0 #1 April 25, 2006 EMPURIABRAVA BEACH 2006 SWOOP CHALLENGE The 2006 Swoop Challenge includes 2 separate competitions. The "King of Swoop" and the "Show Freestyle". The 2006 edition of the "King of Swoop" is taking place 26th to 30th of July on the Beach of Empuriabrava. Disciplines are similar to IPC rules with additional disciplines carved accuracy and s-carve distance. Also the weight reglementation is taken from the IPC with the difference, that the same weight has to be worn for all events. The "Show Freestyle" contest is a separate competition which is taking place on Sunday after the "King of Swoop". There is a mixed judges panel out of skydivers/artists/public and it will be judged in life. Competitors declare their moves before the performance. It can be team, performer + object, team + object or single performance. Thanks to RED BULL, the price money for this years event is in total 20.000,00 US$.
