Meet 2 Scores Southeast CPC

Recommended Posts

Meet 2 of the Southeast CPC was held this past weekend at Skydive Sebastian. Pilots showed up on Friday for practice and had great winds all day long.
The winds picked up a little bit on Saturday afternoon, but all six rounds of the comp were completed with no injuries.
15 competitors competed at the event with three new people joining the league bringing the total to 17 people competing for the overall Southeast CPC championship and the 2006 belt.
All the judges, Kolla, Lara, Jennifer, Robin and Sandy Bobo did an excellent job judging the event. They are all just fantastic people and it is a pleasure to have them involved with us here in Florida. Thank you. Roy and Justin were on hand taking all the photos to document the event. Thanks to those guys always. Tom Dellibac Sr. showed up to see if Tom jr. could repeat his 1st place performance from the first meet of this season and helped out with the course changes and just helped make it all happen. Thanks to Tom Sr.
And Jay Mo and Tucci showed up. That's right Jay Mo and Tucci. Jay coached all of the competitors all day long and reviewed all of the days swoops on video at the end of the day. Of course we all know what Jay Mo has done for the sport, but Tucci just rocks. So thanks to her too.
Brian from www.adventureonline.tv showed up and did an event video for us and we thank him for his interest in our sport. Check out the vid from the event on his site.
And of course Wendy and all the people at Skydive Sebastian are just some of the coolest people on the planet. It is always a pleasure to jump with them and we look forward to a pond in Sebastian someday.

So.......1st Place goes to Johnny Z. "How do ya like it Johnny" John takes home $300 for first place. Tommy D takes Second place and $200 and Keith McBeth takes home 3rd place and $100.
Tommy's second place finish is enough to keep him in first place for the overall title race in the Southeast division of the Canopy Piloting Circuit.
David Ludvik and Adrian Hart round out the top 5 for the meet.

So thanks again to everyone who traveled (GA boys) and competed and see you next month on the pond in Z Hills.
