(The jello shots were mostly red) The DZ offered to double prize money up to $500 and ended up donating $315 to prize money. Ray wins $300 for first place with Scott Roberts taking second place and $200 with Chuck Owen coming in third place and taking home $120. This concludes the 2005 season for the Florida League. We would again like to thank Alti-2 for their support this year. Alti-2 donated Neptunes as prizes for local DeLand comps. We would like to announce the 2005 Florida Swooping Champion. Congratulations to Tyler Lawson. Tyler barely edged out Chuck Owen for the top spot with Chuck coming in a close second. Tyler and Chuck will be representing Florida at the CPC championships next month in Colorado. Dan Mcallister will also be joining them. Good luck guys. We would like to see the National Champion from Florida We are thinking of starting next year a little sooner and try to have some of the meets in the winter months. Look for 2006 Florida meets to start in January or February. Don't forget to Check out the Skyquest swoop comp this year Nov 17-19 at Fantasy of Flight.
