Southeast CPC Meet #2 - West Tennessee

Recommended Posts

What a great time and what a nice group of people.

Congrats and well done to everyone who competed in some 'interesting' changing wind conditions.

Was a tight race right until the end with .02 seconds seperating the top 2 placings in Speed Carve, 9.5 feet seperating the first 2 distance placings and a few points seperating zone accuracy.

Dave should be posting the results soon. ;)

I would like to be at more of those but I don't think the let you leave OCS for swoop comps.

Yeah, I can't see the drill sergeant (or whatever they're called) being too understanding about that :)
Best of luck with that though and hopefully we'll see you around some future comps!

Stay safe.

Well I gave Dave a couple of days to post the results but haven't heard from him so here they are.

4) Drew Joyner
5) Joel Mullins

Speed:
1) Jeff Mullins
2) Ian Drennan
3) Drew Joyner
4) Paul Roussow
5) Joel Mullins

Distance:
1) Paul Roussouw
2) Ian Drennan
3) Jeff Mullins
4) Drew Joyner
5) Joel Mullins

Zone Accuracy:
1) Ian Drennan
2) Jeff Mullins
3) Drew
4) Paul Roussow
5) Joel Mullins

.02 seconds seperated the 1st and 2nd place for speed carve.

9.5 (I believe) feet seperated the 1st and 2nd place in distance.

Not sure on the scores for ZA but they were close too.

One things for sure, at both the CPC meets so far in this region if a competitor had one vertical, it took them out of the top 2 every time. This has made for a fun, challenging and exciting region. I can't think of a better group of guys to be competing with.

Blues!
Ian
:)ps: Congrats to Drew for his first competition!

I believe there's a new Kayak Event this year which will be succeeded by Floating Tent Distance :D

The weather sucks out here this week. Hope it clears somewhat for the weekend. They cannot be happy!

Blues,
Ian

The Jimmy is packed and ready to go, but you know what? I am just not interested in driving down eight hours to party in the mud. The intent was to get the three events done by tomorrow so that people could get down to Thomaston for that "surprise", but I can't see that happening now. It's raining cats and dogs here in Fayettenam and weather.com doesn't look any more promising in Cedartown. Unfortunately, I think I am going to blow the trip off completely. Y'all have fun.

Chuck
