NWCPC event 1

Recommended Posts

Our first NWCPC event went off beautifully this past weekend. Perfect conditions of 70-75 degree's and no wind all day provided some great swooping and a great learning environment. There was little lighter than expected turnout for this first competition but those ones that did show learned a lot and are already gearing up for our next meet at Skydive Oregon on June 25/26.

Consistancy proved to be the way to first place as Tom Phillips demonstrated taking home the majority of prize money and prizes. there was also a very tight battle for second between Brad Gorman, Jim Renfro, and Stuart Schoenfeld, all tying for 2nd and having to decide the placings on individual events and scores.

Eugene Skydivers in Creswell, OR provided the backdrop for this event and did fantastic. Infinity Container, Performance Designs, Alti-2, Openingshock, and Hop N' Pop productions also provided the great prizes for the winners and judges ranging from t-shirts, to DVD's, to gift certificates.

The final standings are as follows:

1. Tom Phillips- xaos

2. Brad Gorman- Velocity

3. Jim Renfro- VX

4. Stuart Schoenfeld- VX

5. Dan Self- xaos

6. Steve Sherble- Katana

The next meet will be at Skydive Oregon on the weekend of June 25th and 26th. There will be more prizes and more money at stake so let's get geared up for another great meet. Pictures coming soon.
