vdschoor 0 #1 March 17, 2005 I'm posting this on behalf of Bob Ash: The first round of the NorCal CPC will be held this Saturday at Byron (weather date, Sunday March 20th). We need all competitors to be there at 7:30am. First load will go up before 8am, weather permitting. The cost of the competition is $100 for six rounds of competition. There is also a $50, one-time, CPC membership fee that will help cover the cost of the course and the National competition in the fall. IN ORDER TO ACCUMULATE POINTS TOWARD THE CPC CHAMPIONSHIP, YOU MUST BE A MEMBER AT THE TIME OF THE COMPETITION. You don't have to be a member to compete, but if you are not a member at the start of the competition you will not receive any points for that event. You will accumulate points by using your best four competition scores (out of 5) and you must compete in four of the five events to qualify for the National competition. If you have any specific questions for me, please send me an email. Here is the tentative CPC schedule: March 19 - NorCal CPC #1: Byron May 7 - NorCal CPC #2: Skydance June 18 - NorCal CPC #3: Byron July 3 - NorCal CPC #4: Skydance August 20 - The 3rd NorCal Classic (CPC #5): Byron The top five swoopers from NorCal will qualify fof the CPC Nationals in the fall. ** We have a dire need for volunteers to judge the competitions. I can't do this alone, so please let me know if you are interested in helping. ** Bob Team Jank
