superstu 0 #8 March 19, 2005 Make sure all of you review the rules that can be found on the CPC homepage carefully. You're all responsible for coming to the competition knowing these rules!!! here are some recent changes: 4.1.1.1. Standard Class: Competitors must have at least 500 high performance landings in total and a minimum of 100 high performance landings within the previous 12 months. 4.1.1.2. Pro Class: Competitors must have at least 1000 high performance landings in total and a minimum of 150 high performance landings within the previous 12 months, qualify for a CPC championship and pass a Pro qualification test (see section 9).Slip Stream Air Sports Do not go softly, do not go quietly, never back down
jose 0 #9 March 19, 2005 Stuey, So no classification for 500+ skydives total? Not all HP landings. Exceptions? Looked on rules, but found no info regarding this. B.
DrewGPM 0 #10 March 20, 2005 For these canopy piloting events it is important that we talk about the skills require for the competition...and that means HP landings. I've got 700 jumps...would you invite me on an 8-way head down? I hope not, I have 3 sit jumps and I have NEVER been head down. The same logic applies to canopy piloting. That's why the requirements are based on the number of high performance landings...not total skydives. Get some canopy coaching this season...we'll watch for you in the 2006 competitions! jose 0 #11 March 20, 2005 Already talked to Stu, and got things figured out. Thanks for the input, but perhaps you should let the individual that is running the comps here make the decisions. That is why I asked HIM. B.
