REGISTRATION:

Before April 23 Registration will be $40, after the 23rd registration will be $50. $25 of this registration goes to the CPC headquarters, the rest is to help with materials. This $40-50 fee is an annual fee so it's paid once at YOUR first competition entered.
There will also be a $25 charge to each person at each competition that will go toward the cash prize.

I'm trying to get people registered early because the dz's and sponsors would like to know a rough estimate of how many people are going to show up.

So sign up early and let's get ready to swoop!!!;)
To register please contact me at superstu81469@yahoo.com
Thanks...stu

Make sure all of you review the rules that can be found on the CPC homepage carefully. You're all responsible for coming to the competition knowing these rules!!!
here are some recent changes:

4.1.1.1. Standard Class: Competitors must have at least 500 high performance landings in total and a minimum of 100 high performance landings within the previous 12 months.

4.1.1.2. Pro Class: Competitors must have at least 1000 high performance landings in total and a minimum of 150 high performance landings within the previous 12 months, qualify for a CPC championship and pass a Pro qualification test (see section 9).

For these canopy piloting events it is important that we talk about the skills require for the competition...and that means HP landings.

I've got 700 jumps...would you invite me on an 8-way head down? I hope not, I have 3 sit jumps and I have NEVER been head down. The same logic applies to canopy piloting.

That's why the requirements are based on the number of high performance landings...not total skydives. Get some canopy coaching this season...we'll watch for you in the 2006 competitions!

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to put out a reminder that the next NW swoop competition will be held June 25/26 at Skydive Oregon, Molalla. This event will be held over water so it will be a good time to get some shreds on the water if you haven't before. I hope all of you have been preparing, and Tom, get ready to defend that 1st place you took at the last meet!

One other thing, NWCPC t-shirts are now available to both competitors and non-competitors. If you're interested please email me at superstu81469@yahoo.com, these are custom made for our region and they're cheap! I have sizes ranging from small to XL, so just let me know of your size and i'll ship them out to ya or you can pick them up at one of the competitions. They are $10 for competitors and $16 for non-competitors. Also send me an email if you wanna see what they look like.

thanks, and blue skies...Stu
