Deano 0 #1 February 19, 2005 Looking back at this months previous thread "What X-braced canopy do you fly", 40% are Xaos and 25% Icarus. There must be alot of HMA linesets out there now. Just wondering when people are getting their relines done and any observations they have made regarding them. I realize DZ conditions play an important role in the life span, but curious anyways. 150 jumps on my first set of HMA and counting. Peace, safe swoops Deano
diablopilot 2 #2 February 19, 2005 Ive got about 850 on one linest and 400 on another right now. The control lines on both have been replaced religiously at 300ish jumps. Both sets are doing fine. No plans to change either yet.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
divernb 0 #3 February 20, 2005 I have around 600 jumps on mine with no plans on changing them anytime soon. But I have Dacron steering lines that I got from Precision I wouldn't use the HMA steering lines and I think all the new Xaos canopys come with the Dacron now. I've got a little over 100 on mine and don't see any real problems (some of the bar stitching coming unraveled). Something I should know about JP? diablopilot 2 #5 February 21, 2005 Nope. I just play it super cautious with control line. I change them about bevey 300 jumps no matter what the material. It's cheap insurance.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
