chayes12 0 #51 November 30, 2004 9 cell competitors will pay the same comp fees as all the other competitors. $150 for five jumps. You will need to check into the DZ and fill out the normal waivers if you have not jumped in Sebastian before and put your comp fees onto your personal DZ account. Competition will be one speed carve, two distance and two zone accuracy. Competitors will be judged and scored and winners will be determined for the 9 cell class. Prizes for the 9 cell class will be 50% off from Alti-2 (a neptune) for first. We also have an Alti-2 jacket and a T shirt for second and third. The comp will be on Saturday, but the courses should be set up on Thursday for practice jumps on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. The actual comp will start at 9:30 am Saturday morning. Practice jumps will be allowed Saturday morning, so if you can't make it Friday, please come early (7:30) Saturday morning so every one can make at least one jump before competing. At least one practice jump (if not more) will be manditory for 9 cell class competitors. The exit order will be determined on the morning of the comp after everyone has registered. Exit orders are determined mostly by wing loading. Swoopers will be put in groups of four and each group will get there own pass for the comp jumps. The groups of four will have approximately 1.5 minutes between groups. Swoopers must make their comp run in the order they have been given or they will not receive a score for that run. For the first 2 rounds, speed carve and 1 distance, the 9 cell class will go last, then we will switch the order and the 9 cell class will go first. This gives swoopers a chance to see the other swoopers make their runs. These and alot of other things are the stuff that we will introduce people to that are interested in learning and entering into the world of competition swooping. I and other experienced swoop competitors, will be there Friday to answer any other questions people may have and we will have a special briefing for anyone interested where any question may be asked and answered at 9 am Saturday morning. Hope to see you all Chris

bendywendy 0 #58 December 4, 2004 Ok, we had 23 swoopers compete in two classes. I don't know the standings yet - they are still scoring but it was a great day. Things went nice & smooth. We got a freaky little storm blew through on the last round of the last round -(does that make sense? oh well, it does to me) - so had to wait around for a rejump until sunset. Which was beautiful by the way. As soon as they tell me how much money we have to cough up - and boy, this is going to hurt - thank god no more of you came - we are going to go eat some free pizza, eat my special jello shots that I stayed up late last night making - with extra vodka, and watch a kick ass fireworks show. Or at least it should be - I keep trying to go bigger with each event.

proswooper 2 #60 December 5, 2004 Wendy I want to say a huge thanks it was an awesome event held in a very cool dropezone. yes it was cool and by cool i mean TOTALLY SWEET! the jello shots are still running through my head now! and the pizza was great! the fire works display was spectacular! I hope the meet can be held there next season again. with or without doubling the prize money. Paul Ps akitas rule!!
bendywendy 0 #61 December 5, 2004 I know it was TOTALLY SWEET - wasn't it? (Jay is going to beat us up, you know). Thanks for coming out and don't be such a stranger - that goes for everyone. We had some people jumping with us for the first time - that is just wrong. How could you live or come to Florida and not come here for at least one jump? I'm being blamed for many jello hangovers today - I only supplied them - ok, maybe I did push them a little bit too - but.... Why are you not here right now jumping? There are still quite a few people running around. The SkyVan is flying. Don't worry the jello shots are all gone. There is still cold pizza, however! Akita's do rule - we'll have to get our girls together soon. Next time I'll sneak her in after hours. There were too many illegal dogs there last night for me to bring her out. It's hard for me to tell other people their dog can't be running around if my own is. Remember consistency is the best training method - alright that or a shock collar. sunnydee123 0 #62 December 6, 2004 Was a FABULOUS turnout for sure.......... Don't have all the standings, I know Chris (or his better hald - Danielle) will take care of that very soon....for now 1St - Ian Bobo 2nd - Cisco 3rd - Pete Allum Sebastian's very own Rob Stevens was even up there in the standings. Good job Rob ~ The 9-cell class is still new but for the few who braved the compeition circuit and all the eyes, did great. I was very proud of my 3 friends . Watch out though, I think I might have to play next time Watch the canopy piloting site for all the numbers but thanks again to Sebastian for yet another kick ass event. And the season is just starting back up - keep your eyes posted, Sebastian has LOTS of cool plans coming up. YEE-FREAKIN'-HAW! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... LoudDan 0 #66 December 6, 2004 And the reason I got beat by a girl is because I was IN THE COMP and not home making lame ass excuses as to why I couldn't come down to Sebastian. "Company Christmas Party,uuuhhh.....high school graduation, uuhhhhhh....."I know you feel intimidated by Sun Man and Chuck Owens in the intermediate class, but I think if you give Tyler (Lawson)a call, he'd probably be willing to give you some canopy coaching and help you work through those mental issues. I asked around, there is no excuse for you. Compete or be gone!!! Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!
