Last Sunday I made my first jump with an RDS. :D Now I know it's all about those extra few feet or a few m.p.h more but....
As I was reeling in the D-bag and pilot chute I can't say that the drag was very significant. Of course this was done while the canopy was breaked and I suppose at the high speeds when swooping the drag may increase dramatically.

I guess a good test would be to drive my car at 60 mph and then stick the gubbins out of the window and see what sort of drag is generated then :P
