scotts 0 #1 November 15, 2002 I'm getting ready to order a new Bev suit and I'm looking for info on "must haves" and "not absolutely necessary". I plan on getting into some serious 4-way, so the more feedback I can get, the better. I have a certificate for this suit, so a different MFR is out of the question at this time. It will be poly cotton with a loose fit.
bobsoutar 0 #2 November 15, 2002 Go for tight forearms (spandex or similar) - you can always get oversleeves for bigger formations if you need to. Megabootees and big grips are the other "must haves" for serious 4-way.
Luminous 0 #3 November 15, 2002 And inside grippers on the legs !!! That's also a "must have". Have fun!'In an insane society a sane person seems insane.' Mr. Spock

BikerBabe 0 #6 November 15, 2002 My last Bev Suit had the zipper booties, and that is the one thing I'll change. They are super-hard for me to get off and on, which led me to walk around a lot with my booties on, which led to them wearing out faster than normal, even with shoe-goo. We're ordering team suits next month from Bev, and I'll probably not get the zipper booties.Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! weid14 0 #7 November 15, 2002 QuoteQuoteI do not recommend zippers on the booties. Why not? Do they mess with flying? it compromises bootie design a bit (the catching air part), plus I've seen some "bootie blowouts" where the zipper comes open in freefall, once during nationals 01. Her (Bev) designs without the zippers are quite easy to get on and off, and fit better, IMO.
scotts 0 #8 November 16, 2002 In that case, since the mega bootie includes zippers. Should i get cordura booties w/pleats/no zipper or get the mega w/pleats/no zipper? And what about square grips?
