NicoNYC 0 #1 May 13, 2004 Duh I posted this in the wrong thread..... I don't mean to showboat or anything but I just took Scott Miller's Canopy Control camp in X-Keys and he did me a great good. He helped me in exiting the aircraft safely, avoiding collisions, ensuring good seperation with traffic, alternate flight plans, sweet spot flaring, flying in strong wind conditions, etc. I now know how to handle myself better in a lot of possible bad case scenarios. There were many instances in the past where I may have posed as a threat to other jumpers whether I was under a canopy or freefalling. I was ignorant of this but he opened up my eyes to many mistakes I was making of course. He basically helped me out with my game in more ways than one. I apologize to all those whom I may have given them a good freaking out or caused you to lose a few years off your life. I'm all prepped and safe enough to be around now. Here's a video of my landing for Scott's last course: http://www.superkatnyc.com/landing04mpg.htm Blue skies and take his canopy flight course if he's around your neck of the woods. Lastly, the price he's charging is dirt cheap compared to the value of improving your canopy flight and being safer. It's worth every cent! How many hits of adrenaline can you take?
