Handicap System for Swoop Comp?

Hello, at our DZ we are creating a sort of swoop competition series and I had some questions for qualified people out there. I would like to institute some sort of handicap system to equalize the playing field a bit. We only have a few "super swoopers", and the rest fall into the category of short swoop landings. So making different divisions is not practical, considering we are talking a total of 10 maybe 15 jumpers here. Any ideas on how a handicap system works, related to swooping? Any suggestions or leads will be welcomed. Thank you.

Make the "super swoopers" use a Navigator 260

Idea 1. For major super swoopers, have their entry gates back 50 feet further..missed gates = 0

idea 2. 10 foot gates for non supers, 5 foot gates for super swoopers and give lower time jumpers bonus pts for making the 5 foot gates.

idea3 combination of 1 and 2 really make it hard for the big boys.


Swoop n chug idea. place beer at 10' mark past a ditch. jumpers are timed from time they hit ground till time beer is drank. super swoopers will ahve nerf noodles 75' back in the water and maybe 35'feet back in water. deduct 1 second from the time if wooper drags foot through 35" gates and 3 seconds if drag foot from 75' noodles. this causes all sorts of fun, the accuracy guy on a 220 could win or a swooper that barely dials it in and lands right on the beer can win. of course there is only one round of this
