naliva 0 #1 November 11, 2002 hello, I have a rig and a canopy. They have been repaired at their manufacturers separately (they are not from the same manufacturers). Now question: In order to sell them better should I bring them to rigger to assemble together or is better to sell them separately? Thanks a lot. Jimbo 0 #2 November 11, 2002 My rigger told me that in his experience it is easier to sell the container/aad/reserve separately from the main. One mans opinion I suppose... Edited part below: It occurs to me that this didn't come out quite right. I should have said, sell the container/aad/reserve as a single unit, and the main as a separate item. Or, like others have said, be willing to break them up. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
BadDog 0 #3 November 12, 2002 Now this one is right up my alley. And the answer is to offer it as a set but indicate a willingness to break it up. You just never know.
skybytch 273 #4 November 12, 2002 What BadDog said. Depending on what container you have (and it's age) you may have better luck not seperating the container and reserve, but advertising the rig as "complete" and indicating that you're willing to sell the main seperately can sometimes help sell it faster.
