YM4 0 #1 September 23, 2003 Most of us know the Worl Cup is getting held at Perris this week. There's a lot of god guys fighting for the gold. Who is taking the fat gold home? Who is your favorite swooper and why? For me, the fight is going to be between Heath and Clint. I just wanna wish all the competitors the best and safest swoops of all."It's not the size of the dog in the fight, It's the size of the fight in the dog!" Jimbo 0 #2 September 23, 2003 I have never seen anyone as smooth, focused, and in control, as Heath Richardson. He's got my vote. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
PhreeZone 20 #3 September 23, 2003 Heath... but Jay's got a lot going for him too. Shannon has the record distance at the moment too so he's not out of the running.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
freeflydrew 0 #4 September 23, 2003 I think it's really a toss up between a bunch of different people... it'll come down to who's super dialed in, gets the perfect conditions, and is in the "zone". I know that a lot of people see the boys from pd or icarus taking it, but I think that there could be an unexpected upset in the competition. Look out for Andy (just won the Red Bull Wings Championships) or Jeffro (ranked #2 in the US) from Team Xaos (precision) coming out on top, or even Cameron from Australia (3rd at the Ranch Pond Swoop this year) or Drew from Australia (1st at the ranch pond swoop 1998 & 2003) sneaking onto the podium... *AND HUGE PROPS TO KAZ SHEEKY FROM THE RANCH AND AUSTRALIA... THE ONLY WOMAN IN THE WORLD TO COMPETE IN THE WORLD CUP!!! Super Exciting!!! Good Luck everyone *i was told this, but could not verify it so please forgive me if there is more than 1 female competitor or I spelled Kaz's name wrong!*
mnischalke 0 #5 September 23, 2003 I got my money on the kid who came from nowhere to pull out the fourth place overall finish at the PST Open/qualifier. Oh yeah, and he's a dz.commer. EEEEEames! mike Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills--You know, like nunchuk skills, bow-hunting skills, computer-hacking skills.
YM4 0 #6 September 23, 2003 Andy and Jeff are also in my top list."It's not the size of the dog in the fight, It's the size of the fight in the dog!"
quade 4 #7 September 23, 2003 QuoteShannon has the record distance at the moment too so he's not out of the running. Well, actually Shannon is out of the running and as far as I'm concerned it's a f'ed up decision to not automatically give him a slot in the competition.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
PhreeZone 20 #8 September 23, 2003 Damn... I needed to go and read up on this... The whole Qualifier system sucks on second reading. Eames has a damn good chance too.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

freeflybella 0 #10 September 24, 2003 Quote*i was told this, but could not verify it so please forgive me if there is more than 1 female competitor or I spelled Kaz's name wrong!* Keri Farrington is competing. I think Marianne Kramer, Amy Chmelecki and Missy Nelson are the only other chicks on the current PST roster - Marianne has been on the tour this year, she could be there. But for sure - cheers to all of them!! Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi

dgskydive 0 #12 September 24, 2003 I'm going for Jim, J.C., Clint or Luigi. Thems my boys! Plus they do have a bit of a home court advantage. Also I think the Japanese my do really well. One of them has been here for a few months swooping that pond and he did very well on his first qualifying round this morning. I just can't prononce his name. diablopilot 2 #15 September 24, 2003 I'm waving the flag for my friends on Team Xaos, Andy, Luke, Jeffro, and TJ. I've got to give it up for Heath though.... Ice water must flow through his Veins when he's on the course. Cool and precise every time.....---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
