PST update Please post pro score results if you get em

Recommended Posts

Advanced results
1. Danny Koons (kicked ass)
2. Mike Meyers (also kicked ass)
3. Luther Kurtz
4. Ramon Rionda (me)
5. Kyle ????
6. Diveout from DZ com

I forgot the rest of the order :$. Please post if you got it.

When I left Panama city the wind was down and the pros were doing the first round of distance.

Heath Richardson had about 322 ft (furthest I saw)
JC had about 300 ish

Lots of people were missing the 5 ft gates (the practice day before the winds were higher).

About 43 pros turned up and 12 intermediate (only 11 intermediate competed). Some sort of Harley bike week was starting as I left and it looked like it was getting busy.B|

I'm down here at PCB right now, we're currently on weather hold. I don't think any Pro scores from any events have been posted yet... I was told they were waiting til all rounds were complete before posting those, so hopefully they'll be up by tomorrow morning & I'll relay those.

As far as the advanced class scoring is concerned, the only other 2 placing results I know of are Anders and myself tied for #8, so:

Advanced results
1. Danny Koons (kicked ass)
2. Mike Meyers (also kicked ass)
3. Luther Kurtz
4. Ramon Rionda (me)
5. Kyle ????
6. Diveout from DZ com
7. ------
8. Chris Warnock
8. Anders

It was good to meet you & compete with you Ramon, congrats on scoring so well. There were some talented canopy pilots in this meet
:)

Do you wish you still had your old main?
;)

Nah, I'll just adapt =]

Last night they announced the Pro meet results at the Spinnaker, but I missed most of that (dinner), and I could not find a printed list, so I do not have the results for you... sorry =\

I don't know if I should bother doing this seeing as you didn't bother to introduce yourself to me even though I drove your ass all over PCB;), but seeing as I am not one to hold a grudge:

Pro Results -- (Top 3 as that is all I can be sure of)

Team Overall -

1. PD Factory Team
2. Team Extreme
3. Tean XAOS

Individual Pro Results

2. Jay Moledski
3. JC Colclasure

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

No SHIT! Oh my god. I just got back and I have to say that this truly was the best week of skydiving and partying with my best friends that I have ever had. Seriously, it was righteous. I will attempt to put my thoughts all together in an article for the pub or somewhere later, but for now am just happy to be home. There was some outstanding swooping going on down there, that's for sure. My boy Ramon did outstanding in his first PST outing. Both Danny Koons and Mike Meyers will certainly qualify for pro before Rantoul. They threw some incredibly clean turns and exhibited perfect rear-riser technique. Me? This is just from memory, but I think I finished 23rd overall in the pros. It was certainly not my best meet, but you know what, I could give a shit less. I had the BEST time. "We are not sucking" was my favorite phrase for the week. It was absolutely fantastic seeing all my old touring friends and meeting the new, young guns. The vibe among the participants was incredible and there was plenty of boogie jumping to get in on if that was your interest. The only shortfall of the entire time was the incredibly rude attitude of the bounce staff at The Spinnaker, our base of operations. Like I said, I will write much more later and tell you what parts of it are repeatable in this electronic forum. Believe me when I tell you it was off the hook.

Cheers and much love to all,

Chuckie

Hey Chucky, you made it back, Gald you didn't get in too much trouble :D

Thanks for setting me up with the room. Your buds from Raeford are some righteous dudes and the view from the balcony rocked.

7th place in the advance category was Will Pesek, Mike McGowans employee and my Rare Form freefly teammate.

Kudos to everyone who helped with the event! Chuck, can't believe how much you party, you are truly an inspiration.
