arlo 0 #1 December 17, 2002 Thanks to another dz.commer finding this, there's an awesome pic (page 36) in this month's Adventure Magazine by National Geographic. It's a pic of my friend Tom Balzer. It was taken by Sonic (from the Ranch) at some fun-filled swooping this March. The write up gives some swooping stats which lead the reader to believe Tom's jumping a 46...but he's not. I was telling one of my friends who I have convinced to come out this year about the things that can go wrong when flying your canopy and here comes this picture.
