bwilling 0 #1 October 28, 2002 I'm looking at some used gear, and the current owner says this rig was sized for him at 5'10" and 230 lbs (it's a Reflex container, if that matters)... I'm almost 6'3", and about 230 lbs, and wondered what the chances are that the harness would be a decent fit for me... what's the 'normal' range accommodated by a harness with the MLW fixed (back in the day, they were adjustable!)? AggieDave 6 #2 October 28, 2002 Ask him to give you the measurements he used to get the rig initially. Then measure yourself, you'll be able to see if you have a similar torso length, chest size, etc. This would probably be your safest bet.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." PhreeZone 20 #3 October 28, 2002 You can be 5'10" but if you have a short inseam you need a longer MLW then someone thats 5'10" with a long inseam and there for a shorter torso. Best thing to do is get the serial number and size of the MLW and call the maker of the rig and give them the info and your measurements and get their opinion.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
slotperfect 7 #4 October 28, 2002 Call Tony at SkyKat and tell him what your situation is. He gets some big guy gear in there now and again. SkyKat Gear ShopArrive Safely John
