shoo goo / jumpsuit q

Recommended Posts

New jumpsuit came in...

who knows a place to buy shoo goo in Chicago? Also, how noxious is the stuff, can I apply it indoors?

Light grey body, orange knees and forearms. Charcoal booties. Orange stripes up the side... Charcoal / orange grippers...

My advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir. The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Lebowski?

K-Mart, Target, any sporting goods store, it's usually in the camping section. I think it might also be marketed under the name SportsGoo, or something similar.

The stuff isn't too bad, but it is messy to work with.

Good luck.

You can also get it at ACE hardware and while you are there you can pick up the silicon spray for your once a month cable cleaning. You do do a once a month cable cleaning....right? right?? "hello is this on?" *tap*tap*tap*

You can get the stuff just about anywhere, and it is quite pungeant so applying indoors might not be a great idea... personally, I wouldn't recommend it. I thought it would dry kind of 'rubbery' (for lack of a better word) and give me some extra traction in some of those slippery otter/caravan doors. Negative, the stuff dries hard and slick, and it also reduces the plyability in the bootie so they don't form to your foot as well anymore... mine slip off ALL the time. Wished I'd never used it, and I never will again.

did you use the goo or the goop, there is a difference, the "goo" is the original.

FYI... they are solvent based products, you need to provide ample ventilation when applying. The hot water trick does work, but make sure the cap is loose [:/] -- I had one open on the wrong end from pressure build up. (of course I wasn't paying attention to it much either)

Ya know, I honestly don't remember, but I'm 98% sure it was the "goo." But, I can't be positive. What's the difference, are they different products?

I never needed to goo my booties until I moved to CO. The landing areas here are dirt/gravel/sand/cactuses/crap after almost wearing a hole in the bottom of one from sliding out my landings I had no choice but to goo:|

I really had to because the nature of my position in 4way, that abrasive sticky stuff they put down for footing really does a number on seam threads.
