jumpy 0 #1 October 5, 2002 Alright sorry but it has to be done I have to post a topic about prospective gear. I'm 55kg at the very most (it varies between 50-55kg) and i have 33 jumps and have been jumping that smallest student canopies we have, 228. I am looking around for gear. I have been told by my CI to look for something around the 150-160 range (no lower then a 150) and that a 170 would be a waste of time for me. Assuming that i'm 110 pounds (??pounds are just double kilo's right??) and gear weights 20 pounds then i'd load a 150 at 0.87, so not all that high at all. Thanks all in advance for there advice Michael
fudd 0 #2 October 5, 2002 HiOne kilo is 2.2 pounds. (55kg * 2.2) + 25 punds for gear / 150 = 0.97Thats a decent wing load, and also allows for some lead to keep up with the heavy guys There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

drenaline 0 #4 October 8, 2002 congrats on your way of thinking. Just make sure you get a ZP main. Personal opinion, get the 150 if the wingload is 0.95. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
