Satan666 0 #1 September 27, 2002 Could some of you Crossfire owners out there give us some personal opinions on their Crossfires, preferrably on a higher wingloading about of 1.6. Comparrisons with other similar Eliptical canopies would be great.

Yoshi 0 #3 September 27, 2002 I have a crossfire 1 loaded at approx 1.3...hard front riser pressure great flare and long glide...I have flown the crossfire 2 119 and 105 which are amazing...strongly suggest if that is within range and capability. light front riser pressure short toggle stroke fast turns long dive powerful flare but can be flown very conservitively also... the cf2 will be my next canopy...the 105 was fast for me loaded a little more than the reccomended sweetspot of 1.85, but the 119 was great. Ill prob get 116-117 to hit the sweet spot. -yoshi_________________________________________ this space for rent.
freeflycracker 0 #4 September 27, 2002 129@1.6- Love it. I dont want anything more from a canopy.Smoother less twitchy on opening than a Stiletto. Longer flare and control range. Dives longer. Higher front riser pressure(after mod). I put a few jumps on a Vengance at about the same wing loading. Not enough to give a good solid comparison.Ill keep the crossfire. Next canopy will be a Crossfire 2 119. If youre buying new, theres a 30 day guarantee. Cant beat that
