PhreeZone 20 #5 September 26, 2002 The selection at cousindave.com and other sites is nice for the some of the obscure canopies like airlocked canopies, but some of the prices are steep compaired to waiting to find a seller looking to ditch their gear. For example some of the prices I've seen on sites like the mentioned ones are over double what a used one from a jumper costs. Shop around and be flexible on the colors and deals are plentyfulYesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
MyUserID 0 #6 September 26, 2002 Why is it so hard to find larger docile canopies?? Geesh!! 210s seem to be few and far between. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines. I'm looking for a Sabre 190 class and they're not around either. I might be able to hook you up with a 210 (Canadian $'s) that is just a bit big for me and will be for sale this fall. Michele 1 #10 September 27, 2002 Quote 210s seem to be few and far between. I just got a killer deal on a Spectre 210...203 jumps, DOM 00, new brake lines, checked out by my rigger (who told me to grab it as fast as I can...), for just about 1/2 price of a new one...and colors are close to what I would have bought new. Got it through a friend here on DZ.com, who knew I was looking for one on a really tight budget, and put me in touch with the seller. Let everyone know what you need (as you are), and see what happens. You might want to consider putting a "Wanted" ad up, as well.
