Macaulay 0 #1 September 26, 2002 ...I put these on one time, and they have just begun to show signs of wear after 110 jumps. I went ahead and replaced them, but that's amazing. Six stows... still working after over 100 jumps. Damn. - Mac

AndyMan 7 #3 September 26, 2002 I tried them and found most didn't survive the weekend. Your milleage may vary. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
Deuce 1 #4 September 26, 2002 I get over 100 jumps on the bag stows, but not the ones that go throught the grommets. And boy-howdy the packers whine about them!
riggerrob 643 #5 September 26, 2002 Sky bands work. Next question?
JFC3 0 #6 September 26, 2002 But do they break when you need them too? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
Jimbo 0 #7 September 26, 2002 QuoteBut do they break when you need them too? I've been using skybands for 2 years now and have never experienced a problem that could be attributed to their use. I notice broken skybands on my bag quite often, not as often though as the generic rubber bands. Skybands seem to be easier on the hands too. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. cloud9 0 #8 September 26, 2002 I've never heard of them. Where do you find them? I use super bandz from aerodyne and get great results from them.
Shark 0 #9 September 26, 2002 QuoteI tried them and found most didn't survive the weekend. Your milleage may vary. _Am Rumor has it that there may have been a bad batch out there. I experienced some of the larger skybands only held for a couple of jumps. Most with a clean break in the center. Other than that I have always used them ever since he started to pack for me. He now has some Blue ones that work excellent and look cool, too. I use both sizes.
Deuce 1 #10 September 26, 2002 Anybody have a link to these? I was thinking about the Superbandz. I'd like to try the skybands. JP

skybytch 273 #15 September 26, 2002 QuoteRumor has it that there may have been a bad batch out there. There was. Andy was told that and offered replacements. He decided he didn't want them.
AndyMan 7 #16 September 27, 2002 Actually, I did want them. I assumed the reason you didn't ship them was because they never came in, or something like that. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
