mccordia 74 #54 February 18, 2003 Just wanted to show-off the jumpsuits my mom made for me so far.. Using an example RW-overall from a friend, my mom made me this realy cool suit a couple of months ago. Cost me about $25 for the different fabric/zippers (streching back/and different fabrics on arms/chest/legs and such..it's a great suit) http://www.3dluvr.com/mccordia/fridge/pictures/skydive/mccordia_pulltime.jpg I wanted to start freeflying december last year, so my mom made a freefly suit, based only on what I described and wanted. http://www.3dluvr.com/mccordia/fridge/pictures/skydive/mccordia_suitdesign.jpg I made this sketch and she started sewing..it cost me about 15 bucks in fabric/zipper. What do you thing...do I look like the burning stuntman I want to be or what :) http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/gallery/imageFolio.cgi?action=view&link=Photo_Submissions/Freeflying&image=mccordia_newsuit.JPG&img=&tt= Cool huh...mom is a seemstress (spelling?)...and I'm so happy for that...:)JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? fundgh 0 #55 February 18, 2003 I recently finished puttin together my own freefly suit! I am pretty excited at how it turned out, and all of my friends were pretty impressed. The fit had to be modified a little after the first test flight, but over all it is bada@%!!! It takes some time to figure out, but if you have a sewing machine, it is a fun project....FUN FOR ALL! Demian 0 #59 June 12, 2003 What are the best fabrics to use? I'm just looking to use flight pants as opposed to an all out jumpsuit. Also, where could I go to find a pattern or design to go by? Remember when sex was safe, and skydiving was dangerous?

sammielu 3 #65 December 9, 2015 Cheap route for freefly is motocross gear, $40ish for each piece of a 2 piece suit and a much bigger market to find used stuff that fits you. Bev belly suits are $250 for basic and are fantastic quality. Find a local dealer and ask them to tell you when there's a nice sale (good one on now through the end of this week). That's my personal experience for ya.
