Cornholio 0 #3 July 6, 2002 I thought that it was not a knot.... You simply insert the end of the line into the grommet, then pull it over the end of the brake handle. That locks it in place. However, if you don't have a loop in the end of your brake lines ( for this purpose ) then I follow the previous suggestion. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! You still sometimes have to create the loop. Generally this is done with a fingertrap and a bartack; sometimes this is done with a fingertrap and a knot. I've used an overhand knot for this purpose.
