Vlad 0 #1 May 12, 2002 How slow can a Crossfire loaded~ 1.5 fly above the ground without stalling ? How fast can it be stopped ? I used to fly a Diablo loaded slightly less than that. Now, I'm switching to a crossfire. I could land my Diablo really slow and stop it in an instant if I needed to. How will it be with a Crossfire ? prost 0 #2 May 12, 2002 The Crossfire has a lot of low speed lift. You should be able to bring it to almost a complete stop with proper technique. I have jumped every size of Crossfire from 149 to 99 or 1.6 to 2.4.William
rhino 0 #3 May 12, 2002 The crossfire won't shut down as quickly but it will completely stop.. I'm at 1.7 and don't have a problem on my crossfire. Blue Skies .....

That's funny, since "As with all our canopies the Crossfire is available in any size you choose." (quote from http://www.icaruscanopies.com/canopies/Crossfire/).Ok, you propably meant "every standard size". ;)

prost 0 #8 May 14, 2002 amn homey, do you have a brother-in-law that works there? J/K >Crossfire’s are very popular at my DZ. There was a demo 149,129,and 109 there. I own a 119 (but I don't jump it anymore as I have two FX99's) and the others were borrowed canopies just so I could jump that size as well. I liked them all. I would probably still be jumping crossfire’s except I got unbelievable deals on these FX's.William
