rapper4mpi 0 #1 April 15, 2002 I have a new rig with hip rings. It was custom ordered and fits great. The leg straps can be fastened tightly and the harness is comfortable. The problem? When I'm in a sit-fly my leg straps slide up my legs towards my knees. This results in painful openings if I don't re-adjust them before opening. I never had this problem with my previous rig that didn't have hip rings. I have over 500 sitfly jumps, it is not my form. So I have added a bum strap but haven't had a chance to jump it yet. Has anyone had this problem, how did you fix it? Also, could the main lift webbing be too long, allow the leg straps to slide easier? Let me know, thank you.-Rap
SkydiveMonkey 0 #2 April 15, 2002 As far as I know (not that much), the solution is the bungee cord between the legstraps. When you participate in sporting events, its not whether you win or loose, its how drunk you get.
quade 4 #3 April 15, 2002 The butt strap (bungee) is definately a way to cure this.To me, the most comfortable openings are when the leg straps are pulled high up into the crotch.quadehttp://futurecam.com
