steve1 5 #1 April 9, 2002 I have a harness that is a little small for me. I wouldn't mind having it a couple inches bigger. I also like the idea of hip rings. Would it be possible to have a Master rigger make these changes? Would it be economically feasible. It might be cheaper to just buy a new harness and container. I love my rig, but it's a little small. Thanks, Steve
polarbear 1 #2 April 9, 2002 I think that will constitute an "alteration", and since it is to an approved part of the system (ie the harness), it will have to be done WITH AUTHORIZATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER. Assuming the manufacturer authorizes it and provides specific instructions, a Master Rigger should be able to do it.In my opinion, your best bet is to send it straight to the manufacturer. You have to get their approval anyway, and they already have the machines set up to do the job, they already have the hardware, and they (should) have the experience to do it well.My guess is it won't be cheap. PhreeZone 20 #3 April 9, 2002 If they are going to have to cut the Harness (which they will need to) Most companies perfer to add a new harness to the container instead of reworking the existing one. A new harness from Sunpath is about $300. "Hey.. Its my camera, and my remote... I'll rewind if I want to!" ~ Goat #
