New idea on main logo

Recommended Posts

Sounds like a good way to screw up a canopy. I wouldn't count on it sticking to the coated ZP fabric. And it seems it would take a lot of 81/2 x 11 sheets to do much. I also wouldn't necessarily want to take a hot iron to the fabric. Hey, but let us know how it works!

Silk screening seems like a better idea. If you look up print shops in the yellow pages you could find someone that will make you a silk screen negative, then you could use that... but that usually means just one color, and it's easy to screw up.
I suspect you'll do much better just by having the manufacturer do it. That way if they screw it up it's their problem, not yours...

I would not recommend doing this! Nylon probably won't like the heat of an iron!
At the very least, try it out on some "scrap" first, to make sure. Be aware that the damage may not be visible.
I would also suspect that the iron-on logo would not stick well to zp.

Yes, you can apply an iron to parachute nylon - at low heat - and it will not damage the fabric.
However, I doubt that most glues will stick to slippery, silicone coated nylon. Heck they make waterproof tents out of Zero-porosity parachute fabric.
