airborne31582 0 #1 February 26, 2002 I was wondering if someone could help me out and tell me the maximum altitude the FT-50 altimeter is usable to. I just bought one from a dropzone and forgot to ask, and the Para-gear catlog doesn't say, Thanks Chris Ramirez

SkydiveMonkey 0 #4 February 26, 2002 I jump one of these and I think the official figure is 18000, but they might go higher as previously mentioned. You shouldn't put a knife in the toaster - but you're an adult now !!!
sldiveout 0 #5 February 26, 2002 I had one that was all goofed up. It would "Peg" at 12,500ft and it was inaccurate above 2000ft or so. I sent it away (NY or NJ?)and it was repaired free of charge -New velcro also. It is now right on the money (I've never had it above 15000)
