Wings Delivery Times

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any idea how to get Sunrise Rigging to move the delivery of my new container up a week (without paying the expedite fee)? I have a small boogie at my DZ the weekend before they are scheduled to deliver it. Rental costs will kill me if I don't have my new container. They are currently telling me they can't do it. Names, phone numbers, or techniques would all be appreciated.

I work in a manufacturing plant(deal with customers regularly) so I understand about being bugged to move an order up but I also understand that it can be done. I would consider it very unprofessional to bump someone back just for bugging them. I hope Sun Rise is not that type of company. I don't intend to call again I just thought someone might have an inside line that I could try.
thanks,

Just ask nicely. I heard of SR doing this for some guy who was going to a boogie in Cali. If you tell them you need it for a boogie I'm sure they will do their best to help you out. I agree w/ Phree and Skybytch, don't beg or hide the reason why you need it sooner. Wings customer service is excellent.
I'll go to college; learn some big words; I'll talk real loud god damn right I'll be heard.

I would call them and explain the situation. I needed mine a week earlier then the date it was suposed to be finished, so I called and talked to Heather, and she said that they would try to help me out. It ended up being ready even before I needed it. So just be honest and beg alot.

Well Honestly I don't mean you any ill will, but I would sure be pissed if they moved yours up in front of mine. I don't think you want your rig any worse then I want mine. Also there are a lot of others just on this forum alone that have ordered wings. So think about what your asking for! All of us to take a back seat because you want your rig. By the way sometimes they do come in a week early I'm told. They try to leave a little cushion in the delivery time. So guess you'll just have to bear with it like the rest of us :)

Settle down Francis

Don't know any Francis, but if you were talking to me.
I posted just as a little reminder as to why you have to wait. There are lots of folks with orders in.
I don't know the serial number on mine, I never asked but then again its not due in until the middle of March. So I wait and borrow or rent until then. Good luck with yours hope it comes in on time, as long as it doesn't bump anyone else ;)

Before I ordered the lead time was 6-7 weeks. On the day that I ordered (22 January) they changed the lead time to 7-8 weeks. I called last week and the expected completion date is 13 March....3 days after a local DZs boogie....doh!!!!!!! They told me they couldn't get it to me any earlier but, your story gives me hope. thanks.

Call Sunrise Rigging & ask for Heather. She has always been exteremly helpful & will jump through hoops for her customers. I just got my container a few days ago...it was 2 wks early! Don't bug them, just be yourself and ask nicely. Their customer service is great and they will do anything w/in their power to keep you happy.
