lazerq3 0 #1 February 19, 2002 I'm looking into buying a new helmut and I'm looking at either a Hurricane or an Aviator. I would like to go with the avaitor becuase of the internal audible pockets, so if I PLF I wont risk damaging my protrack, BUT with it being internal will that affect any air speed readings? Will I get a more accurate reading if it is on the outside. Which would be better?jason
SkydiveMonkey 0 #2 February 19, 2002 I don't think this will make any difference, because as it's on your head, the pressures can change a lot with different positions etc. The only really accurate place for the protrack is on your ankle. You shouldn't put a knife in the toaster - but you're an adult now !!!
skybytch 273 #3 February 19, 2002 Don't buy a Hurricane without trying one on first. They fit really snug and seem to fit a slim face best (ie if ya got chubby cheeks or a real manly jaw you won't like it Personally I like the interior audible mount... even though my Aviator is the old style with the outside mount.pull and flare,lisa--What would Scooby Doo?
