Jessica 0 #1 February 19, 2002 Can someone tell me how the heck I use this thing? I don't understand the instructions at ALL.
AndyMan 7 #2 February 19, 2002 1) Pull the loop off the end of the bar.2) run the bar through the closing loop on your rig.3) put the loop back on the end of the bar.4) close the rig5) remove the loop from the end of the bar6) remove the line from the closing loop. The biggest problem is that the loop that attaches to the bar can be very tight. This will loosen with age._AmICQ: 5578907MSN Messenger: andrewdmetcalfe at hotmail dot com Yahoo IM: ametcalf_1999
Albatross 0 #3 February 19, 2002 I think that you might be asking how to get it through the grommits. once you put the cord through the closing loop and put the cord loop back on the bar, you pass the entire metal bar with the cord attached through the gromit holes. Some do it one at a time and others do them all at once. I would try one at a time.God bless us and God Bless AmericaAlbatross
AggieDave 6 #4 February 19, 2002 From what I understood, doing all at once is really rough on the container and especially rough on the closing loop...I may be wrong though."I said don't look Ethel, It was too late, she'd already been incensed... Geoff 0 #6 February 19, 2002 I know I've said this before, but...please don't wear a packboy/powertool round your neck while jumping. If a line gets caught, the tool will not break....
Kirils 1 #7 February 19, 2002 I have to agree. I have a power tool and trying to close all flaps at once wears the closing loop faster. I rarely use it anymore because I think it also has a greater tendency to cut into the loop more than a ribbon.Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...
