PhreeZone 20 #3 February 16, 2002 I bought my rig on here over a year ago. What me and the seller decided to do was do an escrow exchange. I sent the money to a third party, they confirmed they got the money order, he snt me the rig for inspection. If it was what I wanted/expected they sent the money on to him minus their fees. If it was not, they had me send the rig back to him. When he got the rig via tracking numbers they gave the money back to me minus their fees.When I sold my main on here I just sent it to his DZO/rigger for inspection and then had him send me a check for it. His DZO was informed of the situation before the canopy was shipped and agreed to cover the cost of the canopy if the jumper did not pay me for it.Both worked out nicely, the second required me to put a lot of trust on the DZO/buyer. scotts 0 #4 February 17, 2002 i found a rig here that had been listed about 3 months. took a chance, since i was just off student status and lucked out. here's what i got.talon container, turbo zx main, swift plus reserve, cypres (needed 4yr check/batteries), alti 2, factory diver helmet w/bag, flitesuit, gloves, lg gearbag and pack mat. all gear was bought new in late 96. seller and i are almost identical in size, so everything fits real well.total jumps 7price paid $2200.so, keep looking, ask questions and do some research. it pays off.Damn Power Lines !!! The seller contacted a rigger at my dropzone, and they agreed that he would ship it to her for inspection, and I could demo it to my little heart's content. If I liked it, I'd send him a money order; if I hated it, I'd ship it back.I liked it, so I sent him the money order. I got a Reflex with three jumps on it, a PD 170, a Raven reserve, a Cypres, a gear bag, packing mat and a jumpsuit for $2600. I'm happy as a clam with it.
