Pro-Track Settings??

Recommended Posts

Out of curiousitu, what altitude/altitudes do you have your pro-track (or other audible) set for? I can set it for three altitudes, but I am not sure that I want to.
What do you do?
Thanks!

Break-off altitude, deployment altitude, and the "now or never" altitude (for example: in the event of, say some line twists...that is the altitude that I will quit trying to fix the problem and cutaway). Basically, the "now or never" altitude is the time when I make the final decision as to what canopy I'm going to land under. I'm sure everyone has their own way of doing things...but since you asked- thats mine.

3,600; 2,500; 1,500.
Break off (late but this is supposed to be a back up to my eyes so I don't get out of the habit), opening (usually I've pulled by now but don't open for another 300 feet), and "get your shit together NOW".

Breakoff - usually 4000 - 5000 depending on the jump
Pull - 3000
Flatline - 1500
Ive heard the flatline a couple of times during lower than normal deployments followed by longer than normal snivels. Its this cool trilling sound rather than a regular flatline.

On my Pro-Track, the break off altitude changes based on the type of jump I'm doing - but generally it's at 4,000 or 4,500 - sometimes 5,000 on bigger ways.. The next is at 3000, and the final warning is at 1800.. I normally pull at 2500-3000(depending on the canopy - 3000 for snively canopies or ellipticals), and very rarely ever hear the flatline at 1800..
