rmcvey 0 #1 December 15, 2001 after a hard day biffing in landings and generally getting generous amounts of cow shit on your beloved one, what are some good ways of cleaning cordura/parapack and the various things containers are made of.And when youve had a REALLY wild weekend and theres cow shit on your lines and canopy, how can one be sure to get it spanking clean for next weeks poo fest.BSsPooman. AggieDave 6 #6 December 16, 2001 You need only a couple things:1. Diesel2. Bleach3. A brush(NOTE: DON'T DO THAT!)j/k Actually, don't get it wet and try to rub it out, that will only grind the crap into your rig. Use a stiff haired brush, like a hard horse hair brush to brush off the crap, then use a semi damp cloth to try to get the rest out. Now, that is my own opinion, you may want to consult a rigger, since I may be wrong.RIGGERS: Please place your $0.02 here, since I may be wrong.AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u. Jessica 0 #7 December 16, 2001 I agree with Dave...after a day of people sneaking mud onto my rig when my back is turned (because all my landings are feather-lite, natch) a stiff, many-bristled brush and some elbow grease will get most of it off. Wait until the mud is reallllllly dry. Pet me! I'm harmless and cute!
cloud9 0 #8 December 16, 2001 Try typing in the search field cleaning container. There is some great information in that thread. I'm not sure how to put the link in this thread or I would. But I think all your questions will be answered if you do the search.

Ronja 0 #10 December 17, 2001 I have good results with a brush and "fizzy water" it pulls the dry mud up from the fiber - but the dirt must be dry...
