skydive4play 0 #1 October 22, 2001 I OWN A ODYSEEY AND HAVE FOUND THAT MY DIVE LOOPS SEEM TO BE TOO LOW. I HAVE GIVEN UP ON THEM AND NOW JUST PULL ON THE END OF THE RISERS WHERE MY SOFT LINKS ARE FOR A GOOD DIVE BEFORE MY SWOOP. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT I CAN HAVE MY RIGGER DO,,,,,, SHOULD I JUST HAVE THEM MOVED UP OR WHAT?
PhreeZone 20 #2 October 22, 2001 For one, turn off the capital letters. Online thats considered a form of yelling. For the risers, be carefull of removing stitches from the risers. Each needle hole in the riser weakens the riser. You might want to call Sunpath and make sure you have the right length risers. Are you using 17 inch? 21? 23? If you have 17 I'd deffinatlly suggest the 21 inch.A rainy day at the DZ is better then a Sunny day at work
SkymonkeyONE 4 #3 October 22, 2001 As answered in the first reply: you need some longer risers if you don't like where your dive loops are. I think the loops on my shorty triples are kind of low, but I accept them gladly in trade for me being able to easily reach my slider. I have another set that are two inches longer that have a nicer dive loop height, but it's a hassle to reach the slider on those.Chuck"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy"
