slinks

I'm thinking about getting S-Links for my Spectre and need some feedback. Since it's a PD canopy I know their compatible, but I had one person tell me that they didn't like them because they let the slider come down over one toggle sometimes. Has anyone else had this expirience with them?

Actually... thats the only way to pull the slider down and behind your head. Getting the Slider off the lines helps to prevent a small amount of wear and it also gives you a little more preformance. The other reason to put the slider behind your head is to keep it from flaping and reinflating during riser dives.
Be safe, be smooth, be fast..... and most importantly.... be phree :)

Yep, happens all the time on my Crossfire....but then again, that's what I want.. It makes it easier to pull the slider down and stow it behind your head if you choose to do so.. With Slinks, the slider will sometimes come down and partly cover a toggle, but if you don't want to pull it down all the way, just push it back up the risers....no big deal.. I've never had it come down hard/fast enough to release a brake..

Yes, with slinks, your slider will sometimes stop hiding one toggle. just grab it and pull it down the rest of the way. The only way the slider will tangle with the toggles is if you have old risers built before toggle hoods came into fashion. Your local rigger can easily sew toggle hoods onto your risers.
