quade 4 #2 September 12, 2001 I think that if you don't follow advise from one person, then you probably aren't going to follow it from another one (or the same one a little later). ;^)Anyway, the biggest thing is to try to figure out an emergency procedure to ditch the thing if it gets caught on a line during deployment.I would;1) Unfasten the chin strap. The small one with the fastex clip.2) Unfasten the chin cup. Holding the strap part down with one hand, push the release lever as hard as possible and make certain the strap clears the entire fastener on the chin cup. This is probably the step that will cause the most difficulty.3) Release the back latch.The way I have it figured, doing it in any other order will probably not be very successful.
